Shri Venkatesh Mahavidyalaya, Ichalkaranji.

The college admits boys and girls from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. The college has been allotted 360 seats for B.Com. Course under aided section 120 under unaided section, 80 seats for BBA and 50 seats for M.Com. course. It strictly adheres to the government norms regarding reservation seats as follows:

(a) Open Seats: 50%
(b) Reserved Seats: 50% (Inclusive of SC, ST, NT, VJNT, DT, OBC &SBC) The aspirants have to follow the following procedure for seeking admission to different programs, (3% handicaped & 30% Ladies students)

Step-1: Submission of duly filled Application Form (It is sold students along with prospectus) with Marks Statement of last examination and Caste Certificate, if applying through reserve quota.

Step-2: Display of Merit List (Note: If need be, the waiting list would be displayed)

Step-3: Interview by Admission Committee.

Step-4: Paying fees (As per fee structure shown in prospectus)

Note-1: The application form includes the following Undertakings, which the applicant and his/her either parents have to sign & submit to the college office.

(a) Anti-Ragging Affidavit (The UGC link of Anti-Ragging Affidavit has been attached to the college website using which the students & their parents should fill and submit its hard copy by affixing Rs.10 Non-Judicial Stamp to college office).

(b) Undertaking for having Own-Lavatory & specified hygienic habits (As made obligatory by Govt. of Maharashtra)

(c) Campus Discipline

(d) Employer’s Certificate (if employed)
Note-2: While admitting, due consideration will be given to the following aspirants:

(a) Sports persons

(b) Physically challenged students

(c) Students who have excelled in extra-curricular activities like cultural activities and NSS.

(d) Students preparing for CPT, CA and CS foundation courses.
